“Part 1 in a series on reimaging the Dropbox Photos experience" is a really interesting post on Medium (aren’t they all?) and I’m already looking forward to future parts.
I’ve been away a while and, ultimately, I’ve had a bit of a rethink regarding the content of this blog. Essentially, I’ve deleted a few years’ worth of posts. Clean start, and all that.
From this point onward, it’ll be a bit more subdued; a bit more work-focussed; maybe even a bit more socio-political, if that’s your thing. Basically, it’ll still be a bit of a general train-of-thought blog, but more focussed on some stuff that’s been occupying more of my time of late. Namely, work.
So, with that in mind, here are a few things that piqued my interest this week, mainly around the User Experience area.
If you have to offer incentives to people to convince others in the company to stay, your culture is broken.
As customers gain more power over the business via social media, their expectation keeps rising and their tolerance keeps decreasing.
I’m having a clear-out.
